Vedicastrologer.ai ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using vedicastrologer.ai you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Birth details you enter — name, gender, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. These are required to calculate your chart and generate your readings.
- Account information — your email address (email/password or Google sign-in) and, where provided, your mobile number. An account is needed to buy and revisit paid readings.
- Your questions and readings — the love, relationship and marriage questions you ask, the AI answers, your reading text and your karmic remedy plan. These are stored so you can reopen them from "My Readings".
- Payment information — payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only the order ID, payment ID, amount and status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
- Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (city/region derived from IP), device and browser information, time spent on the site, and cookies used to keep the site working and improve it.
- Support messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
2. How we use your information
- To calculate your birth chart and generate personalised readings and remedies.
- To answer the questions you ask, in the language you ask them in.
- To keep your purchases, question balance and readings linked to your account.
- To process payments through Razorpay and to issue refunds where applicable.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To send service emails — sign-in, password reset, order confirmation and reading delivery.
- To understand usage, detect fraud and secure the platform.
3. AI processing
Your chart data and your questions are sent to our AI provider to generate the reading. Only what is needed for the reading is shared — never your payment details. Outputs are stored against your account so you can view them again without paying twice.
4. Caching of readings
To keep readings fast and consistent, a reading generated for a specific set of birth details may be stored and reused for up to 7 days. After a week the reading is generated afresh. A personal copy is always saved under your own account.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:
- Razorpay, our payment gateway, to complete transactions and refunds.
- Our AI, hosting, database, analytics and email providers who help run the service.
- Authorities when required by Indian law.
6. Advertising
We advertise on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and similar platforms. These platforms may use cookies and pixels to measure ad performance. You can control ad personalisation in each platform's settings.
7. Data retention
We retain your birth details, purchases and readings for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion at any time by writing to support.vedicastrologer.ai@gmail.com.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and row-level access controls so that your readings and questions are visible only to your signed-in account. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
9. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing support.vedicastrologer.ai@gmail.com. We action deletion requests within 7 days.
10. Children
Vedicastrologer.ai is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change and significant updates will be notified through the site.
